What it covers
The onboarding checklist appears on first install and remains pinned to the Dashboard until you've completed every step. Steps are auto-detected — you don't have to mark anything done manually.
- Install widget on theme — opens your theme editor with the App Embed pre-toggled.
- Create first plan — links to the plan editor.
- Verify sender domain — DKIM + SPF in General Settings.
- Connect a notification channel — email or SMS (Twilio).
- Run a test subscription — places a $1 order on a test product to confirm the full flow.
- Set retention rules — dunning + cancel-flow A/B.
Skipping steps
Each step is optional but the checklist won't auto-dismiss until step 1 (widget install) and step 2 (first plan) are complete — those are required for the app to do anything useful.
