Two engines
Shopify Flow
RecurX exposes 12 triggers + 6 actions to Shopify Flow:
- Triggers: subscription_created, paused, resumed, cancelled, payment_failed, payment_succeeded, plan_changed, swap, skip, reactivated, milestone_reached, churn_predicted.
- Actions: pause_subscription, resume_subscription, cancel_subscription, apply_discount, add_loyalty_points, send_email.
Flows show under your Shopify Flow admin once the connection is approved.
Native automations
For merchants without Flow: a simpler if-this-then-that builder inside RecurX. Best for tag-based rules and notification overrides.
Examples
- VIP upgrade — when subscriber reaches 6 months, add tag
vip+ grant 10% lifetime discount. - Churn risk — when AI predicts churn, send a personalised retention email + 15% off next 2 orders.
- Inventory pause — when SKU goes out of stock, auto-pause active contracts.
