AI Retention & Churn Prevention

Cancel-flow A/B testing

Surface retention offers when customers click cancel — and measure which offer saves the most.

Open Cancel A/B.

How it works

When a subscriber clicks Cancel in the portal, RecurX intercepts and shows a save offer (instead of immediately cancelling). You set up multiple variants and RecurX splits traffic 50/50 / 33/33/33 etc.

Common offer variants

  • Pause for 30 days — high acceptance for "I'm overstocked" reasons.
  • Skip next + 20% off — recovers price-sensitive churn.
  • Swap to lower-volume plan — for quantity reasons.
  • Free month — strongest save, expensive — measure carefully.

Reasons capture

The flow asks subscribers WHY they're cancelling (drop-down: too expensive, switching brand, life change, …) before showing the offer. Reasons feed into Subscription analytics to spot trends.

Measuring

The A/B card on the page shows save rate per variant + 30-day net retention. RecurX flags significance once each variant has ≥ 100 attempts.
