Set up the customer portal

Enable self-service so subscribers manage their own subscriptions.

Open Customer Portal.

Step 1 — Enable

Toggle Portal: ON. RecurX exposes a customer portal at yourstore.com/account/subscriptions and links it from the Shopify customer account page.

Step 2 — Pick allowed actions

Tick what subscribers can do themselves:

Skip next delivery
Swap product (within their plan)
Update shipping address / payment method
Pause / resume / cancel
Apply a discount you offer pre-cancel

Step 3 — Customize copy

Translate labels via Translations. The portal speaks the customer's language by default.

Cancellation flow

For the cancel button, set up a cancel-flow A/B test to surface retention offers before letting customers leave.
